I found staying at the hotel a great decision mainly due to the spacious rooms with extra amenities at an affordable price, making it an easy choice to extend my stay. However, the cleanliness during room service was not up to par, reminiscent of a budget motel.
The hotel was not fancy but very comfortable with all the disability comforts of home. The rooms were big, with a fireplace and patio door leading to a walkway by a creek. Although not as luxurious as some, it was much more welcoming than a typical budget motel.
The hotel is conveniently located near various stores and restaurants, making it great for exploring Cambria. The rooms, while clean and basic, lack some essential amenities like a phone for contacting the front desk. The proximity to Hearst Castle and the ocean parks is a notable advantage, but the dining options are limited to coffee and pound cake.
